Chaos Singularity 2008 - Call for Participation

Hallo zusammen

Auch dieses Jahr organisieren die Chaostreffs der Schweiz, sowie die
SheGeeks und der CCCZH wieder eine Chaos Singularity (CoSin), einen
dreitägigen Event mit Inhalt aus allen Bereichen der Informatik und
Informationspolitik.

Wie der Name schon sagt, ist es unser Ziel, möglichst viel Chaos an
einem einzelnen Punkt im Raumzeit-Kontinuum zu konzentrieren, und zwar
am

4.-6. Juli 2008 im KuZeB in Bremgarten (Aargau/CH)

Alle Interessierten sind eingeladen, Workshops und Vorträge zu
gestalten. Solche können über Pentabarf unter [1] eingereicht werden.
Der Beitrag sollte mit Vorzug in englischer Sprache erfolgen, damit auch
Leute aus anderen Regionen oder aus dem näheren nicht-deutschen
Sprachraum an der CoSin teilhaben können. Zumindest aber die
Flexibilität, abhängig vom Publikum auf Englisch umzustellen, ist
erwünscht. Inhaltlich sind von Hardware über Software bis zu Politik und
Gesellschaft alle Themen willkommen. Der Fahrplan der CoSin 2007 [2]
bietet ein gutes Bild. Neben Workshops und Vorträgen sind auch
Infostände erwünscht, sofern sie inhaltlich zum Event passen.
Desweiteren sind wir noch auf der Suche nach einer Person, die CoSin
musikalisch etwas hinterlegen könnte.

Hello everyone

The Chaostreffs of Switzerland, the SheGeeks and the CCCZH are happy to
announce that we will be organizing another Chaos Singularity (CoSin),
an event with content from all areas of computer science and information
politics.

As the name implies, we’d like to concentrate an amount of chaos as big
as possible at a single point in the space-time continuum, at

July 4th-6th 2008 at the KuZeB in Bremgarten (Aargau/CH)

Everyone is invited to hold workshops and lectures. They can be
submitted via Pentabarf at [1]. Submissions in English are preferable,
to facilitate the participation of people from non German-speaking parts
of Switzerland or international guests. Talks about all interesting
aspects of hardware, software, politics or society are welcome. The
schedule of last year [2] may provide a good reference. Furthermore, we
are also looking for someone who would like to support the event with
some sound.
